Step 1: Visit

We want families to get a sense of what makes The Waldorf School of St. Louis’ education experience extraordinary and unique. Your first step in the application process is to visit our school campus and see if it is the right fit for your child(ren), to have the opportunity to ask questions, and to envision your family as part of our community.

We have several opportunities for visiting:

Little Red Hen Playdates

Little Red Hen Playdates are a wonderful way for children ages 0-6 and their caregivers to experience the magic of Waldorf Early Childhood Education.

You and your child will get to bake bread, listen to stories, and join in circle time filled with songs, rhymes, and movement. This free class is ideal for families considering Parent-Child Classes or Early Childhood enrollment. Registration required.

Walk & Talk Tours

We are pleased to offer in-person tours that allow you to experience our beautiful campus and get to know us better.

You will see and feel what makes Waldorf education so special, as you observe during class time. Walk & Talk Tours are offered each month during the school year. See the registration form for upcoming dates. Registration required.

open house

Join us at our annual winter Open House for a detailed look into what being a WSSL student is like. Participate in early childhood circle time and attend lessons led by our Grade teachers!

This is your chance to meet WSSL teachers and learn more about their training, methodologies, and commitment to supporting each student’s unique educational journey. Registration required.

Other opportunities

If none of these opportunities work for your family, please contact our Enrollment Coordinator at (314) 962-2129 or email admissions@waldorfstl.org so that we can arrange an alternative opportunity.
